Winter time

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, Christmas is over. It was a fantastic period for me. When you begin working full-time, you start to appreciate every little moment spent with your family. That’s what happened to me this year. New Year’s Eve is also an opportunity to make some resolutions. I have made just one: trying to live my life the way it is now. However, I’m very curious what are yours :)

In order to change subject, I’ll ask you a question. Do you like winter sports? I have to admit that when I was younger, I was more into this kind of sports than now but still when I have some free time I enjoy watching it on TV. I’m sure you know the discipline which is called ski-jumping. Thanks to our star, Adam MaƂysz, this sport became a Polish national discipline. I still remember all the emotions brought by the spectacular jumps of the best Polish ski-jumper. When I have a look into the past, I see all my family sitting in front of TV and crossing the fingers for him. That was totally unbelievable. Nowadays, ski-jumping is less popular but the tradition is continued by another great talent, Kamil Stoch. He’s also ready to compete with all the leaders what he’s already shown by double win of gold medals in the Olympic Games in 2014. Now, we’re going to see how he’ll cope with Four Hills Tournament.

Another interesting event which is held now is Tour De Ski. Justyna Kowalczyk is trying to beat Norwegian collective but again it won’t be easy for her. She’s won this tournament four times so far and she was an absolute dominator in the past so we’ll see what’ll happen. I think she’s capable to make a surprise. I really hope so.

When it comes to my personal preference, I do like winter sports but it is much harder to practise it than any other discipline. To be honest, I spent just one winter holidays in the mountains. I’ve been there for only one week so I was skiing all the time. Besides, I like skating and sledging. And what about your preferences?

That’s all for now. Looking forward to reading from you.
